Mark Fields. Ford’s CEO, announced that the company has fully embraced autonomous technology and plans on selling fleets of the controversial vehicles within five years.  The fully autonomous vehicles likely will not have wide availability at the beginning of the decade but will towards the latter.  Fields claims that Ford’s customers are demanding the vehicles, citing environmental benefits and overall comfort as key factors in its decision.
