Advanced Sports International Recalls Breezer and Fuji Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard
Safety Recall: Advanced Sports International Recalls Bicycles
Advanced Sports International has issued a recall on their 2017 model year Breezer and Fuji bicycles. The Pennsylvania based company is recalling approximately 3,000 units due to concerns that the top clamp of the seat post can crack and be a potential fall hazard to the user.
The aluminum bicycles come in a variety of colors. The seatposts are silver or black. The model name is printed on the frame of the bicycle. The bicycles were sold at authorized Breezer and Fuji Bicycle dealers from June 2016 through July 2016 for between $400 and $900.
Consumers should immediately stop riding the bicycles and take their bicycles to a local Breezer or Fuji Bicycles Dealer or contact Advanced Sports International for a free replacement top seat clamp.
To date, no injuries have been reported.
